This Privacy Policy explains how SmokeCut ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create a profile, set your quit date, log your daily cigarette usage, or record crisis moments. The App uses Apple's native technologies (SwiftData/CoreData) to store this personal data locally on your device.
We may also use third-party analytics and crash reporting tools (such as Firebase Analytics) to better understand how the App is used. This data is generally anonymized and aggregated.
Your highly sensitive personal data (such as health-related check-ins, slip records, and triggers) remains on your local device and your private Apple iCloud account (if synchronized). We do not own, sell, or rent your personal health data to marketers or third parties.
We use Firebase Remote Config to push global settings (such as social proof numbers or feature flags) to your device. This process does not collect personally identifiable information but may collect basic diagnostic device metadata to ensure the update reaches your device properly.
Our App offers premium features through Apple's App Store. When you make a purchase, the payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your credit card information.
